The following plot types are provided for models using coordinate grids produced by the grid generator:

X-Y plots

A two-dimensional plot of a model output quantity as a function of a grid coordinate or a model parameter. For some models, an inverted profile plot can be generated, i.e. the X and Y axes are inverted so that, for instance, a density-altitude profile is produced with density on the horizontal axis and altitude on the vertical axis.

World map

A plot showing the model output quantity on a longitude-latitude map. The map can be produced as a colour scale or as a contour plot.

Spherical projections

A set of four spherical projections of the model output quantity as a colour scale.

VRML Representation

A three-dimensional rendering of the model output quantity as a colour scale. This representation requires a VRML plug-in for the browser that is used.
